This is nifty. I’ve always wanted to sit and watch a flower grow, start-to-finish. Puts me there! Also reminds me Old Age starts (for me) on Sunday….and I still have all my petals, more or less….

My husband took me there on our first date (a few summers ago).
I don’t remember the man’s name, but it just so happened this older gentleman was there who used to live there (is this Arthur Watres?)…
He was so lovely & interesting with so many stories & so much information.
He took us on a full tour of the entire grounds, just the 2 of us… it wasn’t like there was a tour going on or that my husband even expected to get a tour.

It was fantastic.

I recall seriously regretting not taking my camera!

But since I was on a first date, I thought it would’ve been rude to bring it! ha ha So I restrained myself.

A meeting? Well as long as you were not snapping pics while someone was trying to tell you something during the meeting, I think that’s just fine.

It’s the kind of place that really makes you want to capture the moments to keep.

In retrospect, I wish I had taken my camera that day.
