Delaware Water Gap – The Way Up

On the Way Up

Yesterday I had the good fortune to climb up to the top of the Delaware River overlook in the DWG National Recreation Area.  I’d been there once before and knew for sure it needed a return visit. It was a challenging hike, but I knew this going in and, well, spring is here and it’s time to get my summer legs back!

Needless to say, I came back with too many pictures, so I have divided it roughly into three sections going up, across the top, and coming down.

This is the way up!

Stumped

Abstract Art in the Woods

I came upon a stump of a fallen tree. I looked closely, and stayed for nearly an hour.  There is art in them thar woods!

There are 14 images in this slide show, and each one stays on the screen for seven seconds – in total, a little over a minute and a half. At first glance, the images all seem to be the same, but if you look again, you will see that they are all different.

What do YOU see?
