Fog at Five

Fog at Five

Having been down in the Valley for a meeting, I arrived home just after five to find the Lake bathed in fog.  Fog is difficult to shoot, sometimes, but the patterns were interesting – being more like low clouds than conventional fog (whatever that is).

Regrettably, due to the sudden warm-up which produced the fog, AccuWeather has issued a “Severe Flood Watch” for the area, until Thursday evening.

Deja vu all over again.

Mixed Dozen

On the River

So Phil and I went out for a ride today and did some shooting, but when I got home and looked, the images were all over the lot.  I had some cats, some cows, landscapes, a gang of snow men, close ups – a real mixed bag.

Hence the title. You go into a donut shop to buy a bag of donuts and ask for a “mixed dozen.” That way you get some you like, some you don’t and maybe a few surprises.

A nice ride through the countryside up north a ways.

If you want to see the turkeys, view full screen by clicking the square thing on the bottom right corner.
